Corporate Mechanical of New England continues to work on the construction phase of the GE Aviation Central Heating Facility with the installation of new breeching.
The breeching will carry flue gas through openings on the east side of the facility, connecting to three boiler stacks, which extended 20 feet, a total of more than 80 feet above grade.
The stacks support the high-pressure boilers installed earlier this year, which generates 220 PSIG of saturated steam.
