Corporate Mechanical of New England continues to work on Harvard University’s Andover Hall, a project which started in June, that will create new space to advance the academic mission at Harvard. This will include new, inclusive multi-faith space, modernized, state-of-the-art classrooms, flexible pedagogical spaces, and enhanced collaborative areas.
Existing mechanical space will be re-purposed to create student offices, Ultra-energy-efficient HVAC systems will be installed, improving air quality by using sustainable materials. This will enable the LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council and advance the University’s effort to make Harvard a fossil-free campus by 2050. The building’s vital life safety systems will also be improved and accessibility issues will be addressed. Completion is slated for January 2021.
